Recent advances in intelligent computer systems and communications have created the necessary conditions for the networking of a wide variety of heterogeneous devices. This has led to the integration of short-range mobile transceivers into everyday life objects and has enabled new forms of communication between objects and even between people and objects. The concept of smart devices, i.e. the inclusion of software, identifiers and networking to devices typically not computerized, has led to the so-called Internet of Things (IoT).

ET-IoT 2015 is part of the 19th Panhellenic Conference on Informatics (PCI 2015)

The Greek Computer Society (GCS/ΕΠΥ) and the Department of Informatics of the Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEI of Athens) organise the 19th Panhellenic Conference on Informatics (PCI 2015) in Athens, Greece, on 1st-3rd of October 2015.

PCI 2015 encourages the submission of high quality papers describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in all areas of Computer Science. The official language of the conference will be English.
